Caltagirone (Caltaggiruni in Sicilian) is a town located in Catania, Sicilia.
In 1608 a barroque staircase, leading to Santa Maria del Monte up in town, was constructed.
The town is screwed to the mount with the arab city trace. The staircase cleanly cuts the urban plot.
